You are so very important to the Bright Futures program and your child’s school success! ‘Family’ is the most important factor any child can have. We embrace the diversity, and uniqueness each family brings to the classroom. Sharing your time, talents and cultural traditions is welcome at any time throughout the year. You are encouraged to become a vital and active partner in your child’s education.
PARENTS BECOME INVOLVED in many ways.
Volunteer at least 20 hours to the classroom.
Participate in Parent/Teacher conferences
Plan to attend all Family Fun events
Enjoy Parent workshops offering many topics of interest
Attend Special Evening Events
Be part of Classroom Field trips
Offer your time to the Classroom Collaborators Parents Committee
Bright Futures will always:
Respect and regard parent opinions and exchange of ideas
Ask about your child’s interest, likes and dislikes
Share your child’s school learning progress formally and informally
Remain in open communication to develop a positive relationship
Keep your information confidential at all times
Support your efforts as a parent
Offer family resources and agency referrals, if needed
Keep you informed regarding the Bright Futures progam
